Chen Decheng

Decheng is a visiting PhD student at the NUS School of Computing for one year, visiting from South China University of Technology and working with Flavien Solt. Decheng's research focuses on trusted execution environments and confidential computing.

At South China University of Technology, Decheng is advised by Yi Zou, with Zhi Zhang as external advisor. Decheng's research exposes microarchitectural leakage, for instance side channels on SGX enclaves through uncore performance events. Current work builds a system defense against Rowhammer. Before the PhD, Decheng worked on Linux kernel and driver development as a system engineer at Allwinner Technology. Decheng holds an MEng from the University of Sydney and a BE from Beijing Normal University.
